Everything matters in golden tee and if you don't factor in the wind and distance to the pin more often than not you find yourself landing short and spinning the ball into the fringe because you chose backspin when you should have used bite or even hit the ball naked. In my first example below I face an approach shot where my margin of error is zero because chances are the ball lands in the fringe and either backspin or bite keeps it there especially when using a super spin club. I chose to hit it hard enough without bite or spin to make sure the ball at least made it to the hole.

In my second example I'm looking at a par 3 hitting my shot into a 15mph headwind. Choosing backspin means there's a chance the ball rolls off the green thanks to the 15mph wind speed. You should always factor in what the ball does with the wind after it lands on the green. In this scenario I chose bite and also made sure the ball got further past the pin for my bite to act as backspin after it landed and got pushed backwards by the 15mph wind. End result: Hole in one...think out your scenarios before your shot or else the game engine is destined to punish you the worst way possible..
